How The Green Machine Bingo Works

The Green Machine Bingo is a 5-reel online slot game developed by Light & Wonder, offering a unique blend of bingo-style gameplay with slot mechanics. The minimum bet per spin is £0.20 and the maximum bet is £5.00. All core game information, including Return to Player (RTP), can be found within the game itself.

Core Mechanics and Symbols

  • The STAR symbol always remains in the centre position during the base game and is treated as a GREENBALL, BLUEBALL, or GREYBALL for the purposes of forming win lines. The STAR does not carry its own Jackpot or multiplier value.
  • When a GREENBALL symbol lands on the reels, it will stay in its position for the next two spins at the same bet level. The appearance of the GREENBALL changes to indicate the number of remaining held spins.
  • GREENBALL, BLUEBALL, and GREYBALL symbols can display MINI or MINOR Jackpot values or one of the following multipliers in relation to your current bet: x1, x2, x3, x5, x10, or x20.
  • Once a win line is completed, the multipliers and/or MINI or MINOR Jackpot values on that win line are added together and awarded. After this, the symbols from the win line are removed when the next spin begins.
  • If only one space remains to complete a win line, it will be highlighted, unless the symbol in that space is set to leave the reels on the next spin.
  • When a GREENBALL lands, it will convert all symbols on its column and row into GREENBALLs, retaining any multiplier already present.
  • Win lines that include the STAR symbol are referred to as Super Bingo win lines. Win lines without the STAR are considered Bingo win lines.

Game Features

Instant Win

  • An Instant Win can occur randomly on any spin, awarding the multiplier or MINI, MINOR Jackpot shown on the GREENBALL. When this happens, the relevant symbol is highlighted.
  • Instant Wins cannot be awarded to symbols currently on the reels.

Persistence

  • If the bet amount is changed, any GREENBALL, BLUEBALL, or GREYBALL symbols on the reels will be cleared. When returning to the previous bet, these symbols are restored and will persist across different play sessions.

Super Bingo Bonus

  • Completing a Super Bingo win line may trigger the Super Bingo wheel, awarding one spin of the wheel.
  • Instant Win pays granted during a base game spin that triggers a Super Bingo Bonus will not be paid again if the Double Win feature is activated by the Super Bingo Bonus.

Bingo Bonus

  • The Bingo Bonus round grants 3 spins. YELLOWBALL symbols, each bearing one of the letters B, I, N, G, or O, land in order on the reels. Each YELLOWBALL remains on the reels until BINGO is fully spelt.
  • When the word BINGO is completed, the number of available spins resets to 3. Any symbols that complete BINGO are upgraded according to a paytable. If more than five YELLOWBALL symbols land, they will remain until BINGO is fully spelt out.
  • When all spins are used up, any B, I, N, G, or O symbols upgrade to show x1, and their values are awarded. Win lines are not evaluated during the Bingo Bonus.
  • The Bingo Bonus round is always played with the same bet that activated it, and ends when no spins remain.
