How Rum and Raiders Works

If a Skull symbol is revealed, it will double all current chest multipliers at the end of the present round of cannon fire. The appearance of a full reel of symbols causes a 5-high bonus reel to be added to the right side of the ship; a second full reel adds another bonus reel to the left, but no more than two can be active in total. If all crates are destroyed, a multiplier of 100x stake is added to the total winnings, bringing the Broadside Bonus to an end.

Hold and Win Feature

The Hold and Win feature starts with 3 spins. When this bonus is activated, the 3 triggering Scatters become Flags, each with a random multiplier value, while all other symbols are cleared from the reels. Any new Flag or Crewmate symbol that appears resets the spins count back to 3.

Filling an entire reel during this feature adds a 5-high bonus reel to the right; if another reel is filled, a second bonus reel appears on the left. Only two bonus reels can be active at any time.

Crewmate Roles in Hold and Win

  • Captain: Arrives with a starting multiplier between 1 and 10. The Captain adds the sum of all new values on the board to its own and proceeds to double the multiplier value of a random selection of symbols, with the possibility of affecting the same symbol multiple times.
  • Parrot: Appears with its own multiplier value between 1 and 10, then adds this value to all other symbols in play.
  • 1st Mate: Comes with a multiplier between 1 and 10 and boosts its own value by adding the sum of all other current symbol values on the board.
  • Shooter: Carries a starting value between 1 and 10 and doubles the multiplier of a random assortment of symbols, potentially targeting the same symbol more than once.
  • Grog Boy: Features a starting multiplier between 1 and 10 and brings 1 to 4 rum bottles, which reactivate previously used special symbols (except other Grog Boys) that number of times.

If the board becomes completely filled with symbols during Hold and Win, a multiplier of 500x stake is added to the win total, ending the feature.
