How Money Stacks Megaways Works

Money Stacks Megaways is a slot game from Pragmatic Play that features 5 reels and a dynamic Megaways system. Wins are achieved by landing matching symbols on adjacent reels from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel. The game can provide up to 117,649 ways to win on a single spin.

Reels 1 and 6 can display up to 7 symbols each, while reels 2, 3, 4, and 5 can show up to 6 symbols apiece plus an additional symbol on the independently spinning top row. The top row on reels 2 to 5 moves from right to left with each spin, further enhancing the game’s variability.

The minimum bet per spin is £0.20, with the ability to increase up to £2.00 per spin using the bet adjustment controls.

Symbols, Wilds, and Payouts

  • Payouts for combinations depend on the paytable available within the game interface.
  • The SCATTER symbol can appear on all reels and pays as follows:
    • 6 SCATTER symbols pay 20x the total bet.
    • 5 SCATTER symbols pay 10x the total bet.
    • 4 SCATTER symbols pay 5x the total bet.
    • 3 SCATTER symbols pay 2x the total bet.
  • The WILD symbol substitutes for all symbols except SCATTER, MONEY, COLLECT, and SUPER COLLECT. WILDs are found on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5.

Tumble Feature

After each spin, all winning combinations are paid, and winning symbols disappear from the reels. The remaining symbols fall into empty positions and new symbols drop in from above. This tumbling continues until no new wins appear. SCATTER, MONEY, COLLECT, and SUPER COLLECT symbols remain on the reels throughout all tumbles from a single base spin.

Money Collect Mechanics

  • The MONEY symbol appears only on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5, each bearing a random value chosen from a predefined set.
  • In each spin, it’s possible to win up to 1 GRAND Jackpot, 6 MAJOR Jackpots, and 21 MINOR Jackpots.
  • COLLECT and SUPER COLLECT symbols can land only on reels 1 and 6. When at least one of these appears with MONEY symbols, all MONEY symbol values are awarded.
  • If the SUPER COLLECT symbol lands, it adds extra MONEY symbols to random positions that already contain at least one MONEY symbol before paying out the sum of all visible MONEY symbols.
  • If two COLLECT or SUPER COLLECT symbols land alongside MONEY symbols, a random multiplier is applied to the combined value of all MONEY symbols on the screen.

Free Spins Features

  • Landing 3, 4, 5, or 6 SCATTER symbols anywhere on the reels activates the Free Spins feature.
  • In the base game, MONEY symbols that hit without a COLLECT symbol or sufficient SCATTERs to trigger Free Spins, send a ray to a diamond at the top, offering the potential to activate free spins.
  • There are two Free Spins variants: Random Wild Multipliers and Money Spins.

Free Spins with Random Wild Multipliers

  • 3, 4, 5, or 6 SCATTER symbols award 7, 10, 12, or 15 free spins, respectively.
  • Before the round, a fuse is selected to reveal boosts for the upcoming free spins.
  • The round opens with a 1x multiplier, which increases by 1x with every tumble. All wins are multiplied by the current multiplier value.
  • WILD symbols may carry a random multiplier of x2, x3, or x5. When multiple WILDs are included in a win, their multipliers are multiplied together.
  • Extra SCATTER symbols during this feature can retrigger the bonus and add more free spins.

Money Spins Feature

  • 3, 4, 5, or 6 SCATTER symbols trigger 3, 5, or 7 Money Spins, respectively.
  • Before Money Spins begin, fuses reveal boosts such as additional spins, multipliers, guaranteed COLLECT or SUPER COLLECT symbols, or increased Megaways.
  • During Money Spins, only MONEY, COLLECT, SUPER COLLECT, or blank symbols appear, with at least one COLLECT or SUPER COLLECT symbol guaranteed in each spin.
  • This feature cannot be retriggered.

Ante Bet

Players may choose to activate the Ante Bet, raising the bet multiplier to 40x per line and granting an increased likelihood of SCATTER symbols landing.

Maximum Win

The highest possible payout in Money Stacks Megaways is 10,000x the total bet. Should the winnings from a single round reach this amount, the round ends, the win is awarded, and any unfinished features conclude immediately.

Volatility and Return to Player

This slot features high volatility, meaning payouts may occur less frequently but have the potential to be larger. The game’s return to player (RTP) is shown within the game, including any impact of using the Ante Bet option.
