Game Basics
Big Bang Boom is a 4-reel, 4-row video slot with the Expanding Reels, the Avalanche™ feature, the Super Bombs feature, the Treasure Prize feature, and Free Spins.
The game is played from 256 to 10,000 bet ways in the main game and different bet values. Matching symbols in any position on three or more adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost reel to the rightmost reel, results in a bet way win. More bet way wins are created if additional instances of the symbol appear on the same reels that create the longest bet way win. Only the longest matching combination per symbol is paid. Simultaneous wins on different bet ways are added.
A bet way win is equal to the value shown in the Paytable. Symbol payout values shown in the Paytable are dynamic and change in accordance with the selected bet value.
Bet Ways Calculation Example
The longest winning combination of Crown symbols is 4 symbols on reels 1-4. The number of winning bet ways is calculated by multiplying the number of Crown symbols on each of these reels: 3 x 2 x 1 x 2 = 12 winning bet ways.
Expanding Reels Feature
In the main game, each spin starts with a play area of 4 reels and 4 rows. In the Expanding Reels feature, three additional rows at the top and three additional rows at the bottom of the play area can be uncovered, expanding the main game to 4 reels and 10 rows.
Free Spins starts with 4 reels and 10 rows. The Expanding Reels feature adds two reels to the left and two to the right of the play area that can be uncovered, expanding Free Spins to 8 reels and 10 rows.
A position is uncovered if a symbol that is vertically adjacent to it becomes a part of a winning combination or if a bomb explodes and the explosion directly affects a covered position.
Avalanche™ Feature
A bet way win or a bomb exploding starts an Avalanche. Symbols that are in winning combinations or part of the explosion disappear, leaving space for a new Avalanche of symbols. The Avalanches continue until there are no more wins or bombs on the reels. If there is any number of winning combinations and bombs on the reels at the same time, the Avalanche happens after the symbols in winning combinations disappear and the bombs explode.
Super Bombs Feature
Super Bombs feature has 7 types of Bomb: Vertical Bomb, Horizontal Bomb, Plus-pattern bomb, Diagonal Bomb, Omni-directional Bomb, Cluster Bomb, and Persistent Bomb.
Vertical Bomb, Horizontal Bomb, Diagonal Bomb, and Plus-pattern Bomb can appear during the spins in the main game and in Free Spins, while Persistent Bomb can appear during the spins in Free Spins. Omni-directional Bomb and Cluster Bomb can appear in the Treasure Prize feature in the main game and in Free Spins.
Bombs explode after the wins are evaluated and cause Avalanches.
Free Spins
Expanding the play area to 4 reels and 10 rows in the main game activates 6 Free Spins. In Free Spins, only Prizes with a value of x1, Vertical Bombs, Horizontal Bombs, Plus-pattern bombs, Diagonal Bombs and Persistent Bombs can appear on the reels during the spins. In addition, Prizes with larger values, different types of bombs, and additional Free Spins can appear in Free Spins in the Treasure Prize feature.
Prizes that land on the reels stay until the end of Free Spins. The Prize value is multiplied by 2 up to a maximum of x2048 if a bomb explosion covers a position that has a Prize. At the end of Free Spins, a win equal to the sum of all values of Prizes multiplied by the bet value is awarded.
Free Spins are played at the same bet as the round that activated Free Spins. At the end of Free Spins, the total win from Free Spins is added to any wins from the round that activated Free Spins, and the game returns to the round that activated Free Spins.
Treasure Prize Feature
Treasure Prizes can be found if new positions are uncovered on the reels in the main game or in Free Spins.
